Action Now - Success Later.Call to Action: When is the right time? Like now baby, right now! The above statements appear stupid when put down on paper like that? Let me be honest with you and make the point loud and clear that without positive movement there is only inertia. The majority of people fail to achieve to their life potential simply because they do not move into future plan mode at the necessary time. The main reason why so much future planning fails to materialize into positive results is because people fail to set a date when they create the goal. A goal, or target, without a date for both start and complete is unlikely to succeed. You are not alone in your inaction, 95% of the world population are with you and that is the main reason why some 5% of the population share 80% of the wealth. In case you have a math problem that means 95% are left to scrabble for the remaining 20% of wealth that is available. The same applies for all achievements, 5% control 80%. Is that unfair? How can it be because we all have the ability to raise our performance and join the elite – there is no special password or key to the door. No glass ceilings exist and everybody is welcome, all you have to do is something rather than nothing NOW. It is human nature to spend time prevaricating and setting up boundaries and rules and then either fail to take action. Have you ever watched a group of children playing: They spend 45 minutes making rules and amending rules followed by five minutes playing the game. We carry this attitude with us as we grow up and are happier talking about something than actually doing it. You think that happens? Just look at industry and commerce and how much time is spent in meetings discussing things. If the same amount of time was spent taking action there would be little reason to meet about anything except a few drinks on Friday evening. Be honest; how often have you walked out of a meeting and thought “what the heck was that all about?” So here we have a case of prevarication rather than deeds by adults in senior positions in the workplace. - Don’t worry about it, you used to do it as child so it’s a comfort zone as an adult. But does it get you or the company anywhere? Occasionally yes, usually no; meetings are fine when there is immediate action and an immediate outcome, otherwise they are just an excuse to prevaricate, to fill in time so that you look busy. This website is about achieving what you are capable of achieving in life and before you can reach these heights – believe me you will astound yourself when you discover how good you really are – the most important step is action. The act of doing something that challenges you is the very best exercise for both brain and confidence. It is the first positive step to achieving what you are capable of and really getting to the position in life that your God gave each of you the equipment to achieve. What to do: Determine what you want to achieve in your life, it may be a position or a possession and give yourself a reason to achieve it. Not a phoney reason like: “Because I want to.” That will not be incentive enough for your brain to find the links you need to get to where you want to be. What if you believe that by putting your own house in order you will be able to devote more time to a youth project that will help make the world a slightly better place? Isn’t this incentive enough to start putting your own house in order and eliminating debt, ensuring the income is enough to meet all future bills when they fall due and buy you a home that is suitable for your family? That is a good first goal because you have a terrific reason for it to work. What happens after you achieve that initial goal will amaze you and everybody around you because you will become a super new confident, responsible person, But, and this is most important, you will have the knowledge, confidence and mindset to achieve anything you wish from life.
