My Affiliate Marketing Story

My affiliate marketing story is a bad news/good news story. Similar to so many other people I tried hard, I did what I thought I was being advised to do, I put up websites, and I used Google AdWords pay per click and barely made a cent for more than five years. All commissions put together over that period barely paid for the cost of getting buyers. I doubt that I made $100 in more than five years.

Like many peers I started doubting my ability and thinking: “Maybe this isn’t for me.” It proved to be an embarrassing situation because I hadn’t failed at anything before in my life and now I was failing at what appeared to be a simple process. Naturally in the early years it was the fault of everybody else – not me. It took almost three years of failure before I admitted to the fact that it was me; because:

- I was picking the wrong products.

- Taking the wrong advice.

- Failing to stand back and treat it as a business – it had become personal.

- I didn’t have a business plan other than the fact that I was going to sell other peoples products online for a commission.

I could list a hundred other reasons but I know you get the picture now so I’m putting all of the bad news to bed now and we’ll concentrate on what turned me around.

Just as I was about to give it all up, go hide and lick my wounds my fortune suddenly changed. I received an email from a friend telling me to try commission blueprint because not only is it a good product it has the most fantastic video training to go with it.

That was two months ago ago and already my affiliate marketing story has changed dramatically and I have made over $6,000.
