Successful Mindset

Your individual mindset is the tool that most dictates whether you will be a success or failure at anything you attempt. It matters little whether it is a money-making project or simply organising your shed; if your attitude is wrong you will fail. Luck plays no part in your destiny the way that you think is the main driving force.

Ask yourself a few questions like:

- When you set yourself a task do you follow it through to conclusion?

- Is your workspace always tidy and your filing system accurate enough to lay hands on whatever you need at this moment?

- Do you always have lots of ideas and find one taking precedence before another is completed?

The person with the perfect mindset is meticulous, is able to manage time and spends just the right amount of time on each task. If you answered yes to the questions above the chances are you have little control over your mind.

Think back to the last time you watched a young child play alone and how it plays with one toy for just a few minutes then another appears more inviting. Quickly the child discards the first toy in favour of the second. You see similar behaviour when two children are playing with different toys, each see’s more fun in the toy the other child has and will try to grab it.

If you take question three above and answered yes to it then aren’t you behaving just like the children? You have no clear idea what you want from life. This is important because if you don’t know what you want you can’t set up a plan to achieve it.

Do you have dozens of valuable things on your hard disk that at the time you bought each one it was the tool that was going to make your fortune? They are probably sitting gathering dust deep in the heart of your computer, why? Because something else came up and appeared even better so the first item was discarded because you have insufficient time to devote to it. The obvious question to ask now is: “Why keep spending money if your mindset is such that you don’t follow through and take action?”

To start achieving what you truly want from life there is a price to pay, not cash, something far more valuable than mere cash. You must pay in commitment. You must focus on one project at a time, set a goal and set a date to achieve it by. A goal without a timeframe never works. You must ignore all other offers that arrive in your inbox. They will just use your valuable time and stop you achieving your goal. When you are able to be truly single minded about something with an ability to ignore things that may lead you off track you will have the right successful mindset to achieve your dreams.

After reading successful mindset it makes sense to read an article about goals and setting goals. You'll be amazed how little most people know about this ingredient for success.
