Your World Model

Your world model has a massive influence on how you view your role on the planet. Even more importantly it has an even bigger effect on where you finish up in life, your destiny, so you should never stop being aware of it.

Your model influences what type of person you are, for instance:

- Some people have a model that tells them its fine to rob and steal.

- Some have a model that leads them to oppress others (Hitler, Idi Amin etc.)

- Some have a model that tells them it’s OK to commit suicide and take other with them. (Terrorists)

These are typical negative models and people that have them are destined to failure or at best short term success.

People that succeed have a model of the world that indicates:

- Anything and everything is achievable.

- The well being of living things are paramount.

- Service to the community is important.

Obviously there are so many different models one may have that they can’t all be listed.

Maybe if we look at Bill Gates as an example it will make the entire picture clearer.

In his early days at Microsoft Bill Gates had a model of the world that dictated anything and everything is achievable and he put together a team and gave them a vision of how people will use computers in the future. Microsoft Windows was born.

Thanks to his world model great riches started to accrue and some say he is the richest man on earth. At this point in his life it became obvious that wealth is pointless if it is only a means of hoarding cash. Gates then changed his model of the world due to his circumstances and started his foundation. Today that foundation is responsible for thousands of projects around the world that break down education barriers. In time better education will break down poverty barriers, enhance the well being of living things giving a great service to community.

We all have a free choice to select which model of the world is to be our model. On the extremes are the Hitler and the Gates model. Between those extremes there are millions of models to choose from, some good some not so good, and we all have the opportunity to choose the one that we desire. What it all boils down to is the fact that we choose who we are and what we achieve in life. The way other people view us will be based upon our world model – the model we choose makes us all responsible for where we are today and where we will be in the future.

We each have a brain that is so powerful that each of us can achieve what we choose to achieve. If you can only see yourself working for an hourly wage and hoping a big bill doesn’t arrive then that is how you will lead your life. If, however, you see yourself as a great achiever in your chosen field then your brain will find a way to take you there, it will find all the links it requires to meet that outcome. Just remember it can only achieve what you feed to it so feed it the right messages and they are the positive messages.

You are unique human being with the ability to choose your own destiny.
